cannibalgourmetHannibal was only just starting to adjust to Abigail's presence in his home, when the girl suddenly disappeared. At first he thought she might have gone back to the Temple, but he visited there often enough to realize she wasn't there. Nor did she appear on Arrival Day, like he did last month. Maybe he should sneak into Will's house to see if she was there, but the place looked abandoned enough, as the profiler was in the hospital. Maybe Abigail was getting back at him for leaving her alone, though it hadn't been his wish to go home.
The doctor had kept his thoughts from Will during the time he had been at the hospital, there would be time enough to talk about that once his patient was discharged and sent home. And true to his thoughts, it hadn't been more than a few hours since Will was home than there was a knock at Hannibal's door.
